Tussar is reeled from cocoons the moths have already left, which gives it the irregular slub and the honey tone — this set is left undyed, so the colour is the fibre.

The kurta hem and dupatta edge carry a hand-blocked border in iron-black, printed in Bhagalpur by the same workshop that finishes our tussar sarees.

Straight kurta, straight trouser, and a full-width tussar dupatta. The heaviest of the three suit sets, and the one that holds a press best.

Care — Dry clean only. Store folded in muslin, refolded along different lines every few months.
