1. About these terms

This website is operated by Aurima Sarees Pvt. Ltd. ("Aurima", "we", "us"), of B-3/145, II Floor, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi 110063, India. By browsing this site or placing an order you accept these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and capable of entering a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. By ordering you confirm the details you give us are accurate and that the payment method used is lawfully yours.

3. Products, handloom variation and colour

Every saree we sell is handwoven or hand-finished. Slight irregularities in the weave, minor variation in motif placement, and small differences in shade between pieces are inherent to handloom and are not defects. We regard them as evidence the cloth was made by a person rather than a machine.

Product artwork on this site represents the fabric, palette and motif of each weave. Colours also render differently between screens. If exact shade matters to your order, email us before you buy and we will describe the piece in detail.

4. Pricing and taxes

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable GST.
• Prices may change without notice, but never after you have paid for an order.
• Shipping is free on orders above ₹2,999; below that a flat ₹99 applies.
• If an item is listed at a materially wrong price through a clear error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it.

5. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms only when we confirm dispatch. We may decline or cancel an order — with a full refund — where stock has run out, where the delivery address is outside our serviceable area, where we suspect fraud, or where a pricing error has occurred.

Because the catalogue is small and every piece is handmade, an item can sell out between your adding it to the cart and completing payment. The server re-checks stock and re-prices your cart at checkout, so the amount you are asked to pay is always the current, authoritative total.

6. Payment

• Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking and wallets are accepted.
• Card and UPI credentials are collected by Razorpay directly. We never receive or store them.
• Every payment is verified server-side with an HMAC-SHA256 signature before an order is treated as paid.
• If your account is debited but the order does not confirm, the amount is auto-reversed by your bank, typically within 5–7 working days. Contact us with the payment id if it is not.

7. Shipping and delivery

We dispatch from Delhi within 2–3 working days and deliver across India in 4–7 working days (7–10 for the North East, Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep). Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees, and we are not liable for delays caused by couriers, weather or events outside our control. Full detail is on our shipping and returns page.

8. Returns, cancellations and refunds

• Orders can be cancelled free of charge any time before dispatch.
• Returns are accepted within seven days of delivery, on unworn, unwashed pieces with tags intact in their original packaging.
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method through Razorpay, normally within 5–7 working days of the return being received and inspected.
• Custom-stitched sizes, altered pieces and blouse stitching are final sale and cannot be returned.
• If a piece arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, tell us within 48 hours with photographs and we will replace it or refund you in full, including shipping.

9. Intellectual property

The Aurima name, monogram, site design, product photography and written descriptions belong to us and may not be reproduced without written permission. Traditional weaving motifs and techniques described on this site belong to the communities that created them; nothing here claims ownership over them.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to scrape, resell or republish our catalogue, interfere with the site's operation, attempt to bypass its payment flow, or place orders fraudulently. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe any of these has occurred.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi. Consumer complaints may also be raised through the National Consumer Helpline or the relevant consumer forum.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published here on the date of your order, shown by the revision date at the top of this page.
