Woven on a pit loom over eleven days, this Kanjivaram carries the korvai join that only a two-weaver loom can produce — the body and border are woven separately and interlocked by hand.

The pallu is patterned with a traditional rudraksham and temple motif in pure zari, framed by a three-inch mustard border.

Among Indian sarees, the Kanjivaram is the one most often chosen for weddings, and it is built for it: the silk is heavy enough to hold a pleat for a full day.

Comes with an unstitched blouse piece of matching silk (0.8 m).

Care — Dry clean only. Store wrapped in muslin, refold every three months.
